NC Ag Ventures is an NC State Extension program providing grants to North Carolina family farms and community organizations that support family farms.  The goal is to develop new and innovative agricultural projects which will increase farm profits. Pitt County farms are eligible for this grant project.

Priority is given to applicants who are current or former tobacco growers or quota holders and/or applicants who earn at least 50% of their income from farming.  Viable proposals that increase farm profits with innovation, diversification, or expansion will be considered.

Applicants must contact the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Pitt County office at 252-902-1709 to talk with an Extension agent about their project by December 10, 2021.  Final applications are due by December 15, 2021.
