π 4-H Paper Clover Campaign: Support Pitt County Youth
Every year, Tractor Supply Co. partners with 4-H for the Paper Clover fundraiser. By purchasing a $1Β paper clover at the register, customers provide critical funding for Pitt County 4-H members to attend summer camps, leadership conferences, and hands-on workshops.
90% of all funds raised stay right here in North Carolina to support our local students, while 10% supports national 4-H programming.Β Itβs more than just a donationβitβs an investment in the next generation of leaders, scientists, and farmers in our community.
π Ways to Volunteer
You can help boost the success of the campaign by being a visible presence at the store. Popular volunteer activities include:
In-Store Greeter: Stand near the 4-H display or register to thank customers for their donations and share a quick story about how 4-H has impacted your life.
Project Showcase: 4-H clubs can set up a table to display current projects (like robotics, crafts, or photography) to show customers exactly where their money goes.
Social Media Ambassador: Share the campaign dates on local Pitt County community groups and encourage neighbors to visit Tractor Supply to "buy a clover."
Educational Demos: If you have a gentle project animal or a cool science experiment, check with the store manager about doing an outdoor demonstration.
Pro Tip: Wear your 4-H green or club t-shirt! Seeing youth and leaders in person significantly increases the number of clovers sold.
