Event Description
Perfect for aspiring makers ages 9 and up, the Pitt County 4-H sewing program invites youth to explore the art of creation through both hand-sewing and machine techniques. Held at the Pitt County 4-H Office in the Extension Kitchen, this program teaches students how to craft everything from custom wardrobe pieces to practical everyday essentials. Participants are welcome to bring their own sewing machines to practice on, or utilize provided equipment as they master new skills. Beyond the classroom, we empower our students to showcase their hard work by submitting their finished projects to the Pitt County and N.C. State Fairs, as well as displaying them at our annual Pitt County 4-H Achievement Program.
