Surviving the Holidays with Diabetes: At Home with ECA

Managing your diabetes is something you work on year-round by balancing your nutrition, physical activity, and medication. It can be even more difficult during the holidays. However, a little planning can help you take part in the holiday festivities while managing your diabetes. Come and learn some tips on how you can enjoy and survive the holidays with diabetes. This is an online program.

Healthy Holiday in the Kitchen: Lunch and Learn

Thursday, November 10th @ 12 p.m.

Location: Wilkes Agricultural Center

This year focus on enjoying a healthy holiday season. This program will cover simple swaps to lighten up traditional dishes and tips to keep food safe during the holiday season. Participants must register for this program by Monday Nov. 7th. Registration is $5. Call 336-651-7330 or email courtney_tevepaugh@ncsu.edu to sign up.

Holiday Gifts from the Kitchen

Tuesday, November 29th @ 6 p.m.

Location: Wilkes Agricultural Center

Enjoy an evening creating homemade gifts from the kitchen! Participants will take home two gifts ready to share. Participants must register for this program by Tuesday Nov. 22. Registration is $5. Call 336-651-7330 or email courtney_tevepaugh@ncsu.edu to sign up.
